The personal site of my wife, Sarah, and myself, Mad Eejits documents our adventures in “Family Life, Going Green & Paying Off the Mortgage”. Yes, ok, it’s a blog.
The domain “MadEejits.com” was registered back in 1999 for a project that never really got off the ground. Since then, we’ve been using the domain for our personal email accounts and, for some reason, people that know us think its quite appropriate. So, when we decided to set up a personal site, it seemed only fitting to revive Mad Eejits rather than register something new.
The site is built around the highly adaptable Textpattern Content Management System (CMS), allowing the site to be quickly and easily updated from anywhere with internet access.
The header photographs are all from our personal collection and displayed using a Flash Image Rotator that doesn’t affect the accessibility of the site.
The Mad Eejits site earned Citrus Skies its second “Editor’s Pick” Award on W3C Sites and was also featured on Most Inspired.
