All Hockey Gear hired Citrus Skies to replace their existing Flash-based web site with a something that would be more user-friendly and operate correctly in all major web browsers.
The first step was installing a new shopping cart system that not only offers a range of useful features, for both the visitor and the store administrator, which had not been available in the client’s previous store, but also generates Web Standards compliant pages (which we like!)
A custom template was developed for the store to give it a unique look-and-feel for All Hockey Gear. The cumbersome click-and-drag menu system of the previous site was replaced with a simple, full category list menu, making it possible for visitors to locate their desired category and/or product in just a fraction of the time taken on the old site.
Finally, several modifications were made to the store functionality to meet the client’s individual requirements.
