Apple iPhone Launched

Sometimes when a product is the subject of months of speculation and rumour, the official launch can be somewhat of an anti-climax. Not so Apple’s much anticipated iPhone. Whether its my email inbox, frequented tech and design blogs or even hockey forums, the freshly launched gadget is the hot topic of the day.

iTunes v7.0

Its great to see that the latest version of Apple’s iTunes app includes the wonderful Coverflow to allow you to select your music visually by browsing through your album covers.

Mac OSX Leopard Preview

Apple have released a preview of their latest OSX version, “Leopard”. Amonst the goodies on offer are some new applications as well as updates to existing apps.

Mail has been upgraded with a few features already offered in Microsoft’s Outlook application, namely notes and “to do” lists, the latter of which are automatically added/updated in iCal as well. Apple have also introduced a stationery system to Mail that allows you to add your own photographs into supplied templates.

In Praise of MAMP
