iTunes v7.0
14 September 2006
Its great to see that the latest version of Apple’s iTunes app includes the wonderful Coverflow to allow you to select your music visually by browsing through your album covers.
However, why is it that iTunes itself seems to get uglier with each release? Nothing seems to fit together anymore with different colour schemes being used on different panels.
The effect is even more pronounced on Apple’s own OSX operating system where the once coordinated appearance of the standard apps (Mail, Safari, iTunes etc) has been lost to a mishmash of styles and effects.
We can only hope that Leopard will tie everything together again.
